+What type of different makeup training do you offer?

I offer different type of makeup artist training,

+Could you give makeup training on ethnic facial features?

Yes, I have extensive experience with different type of ethnicities and cultures. Beauty has been my passion through all my life. I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure to work throughout my career with all types of ethnicities, gathering extensive knowledge that will be handed to you.

Group training

+Will classes be in a group setting or one-on-one?

Our professional classes are designed to be in groups no larger than 6 people per class. We could also tailor these professional classes to be one-on-one depending on your preference.
Our personal training classes are always one-on-one, unless you decided to take these with a companion (extra fees may apply).

+Could you give group training? I may have a few friends who would also be interested in a lesson.

Yes, this will reduce the class cost per-person dramatically. Contact me with the exact number of students interested for an exact training rate.

+Do you offer beauty salon training services?

Yes, it is always recommended that beauty salon professionals advance their training skills and knowledge throughout their career. Contact me with the exact number of students interested for an exact training rate.

 

Pricing

+How much are the training courses?

The cost of the courses depend on the training level;personal, beginners, advanced.
Personal Training: $250.00, 2 hours of training$350.00, 4 hours of training
Beginners Professional Training: $2,200.00, 24 hours of training
Advanced Professional Training: $1,200.00, 12 hours of trainingThese professional training classes will be disbursed into 3-4 hour classes a day.
Once you have completed the course, any additional classes could be obtained at a rate of $75.00 per hour.

+If I don’t want to take the full 12 or 24 hours of classes would you give 4, 8, 10, hour’s course?

Yes, these will be at $125.00 hourly training rate.

+How do I pay for the classes? Do you have a payment plan?

A signup fee of $100.00 (non-refundable) is due 4 weeks prior to the schedule starting date. This signup fee will need to be submitted with the “Students information sheet” and it will be credited towards the classes’ costs.
The remaining tuition balance will be due in full 2 weeks prior to the scheduled starting training date.

+What happens if I decide I no longer want to take the classes?

If for any reason, you are no longer able to complete the course in full, you will be reimbursed 50% of the remaining non-used-hours.

 

+How long does it take to complete the program?

I offer different types of programs for depending on the students’ needs. It will all depend on your availability and the type of training you are looking for. Contact me for more detailed information.

+What are the hours?

Minimum of 2 hours a day. Maximum of 4 hours per day.

+I’m only interested on a specific subjects of your training. Can you give specific hair/makeup training on a specific field?

Yes, training will be adjusted and tailored to your specific needs.

+Do you offer weekend times?

Yes, training will be adjusted and tailored to your specific needs.

 

Locations

+Where will the classes take place?

Classes will be given at your location.  

+I wanted to know if you do an in home classes service?

Yes, special arrangements can be made to provide on location training.

Pre-requisites

+Are there any prerequisites to taking this course?

The only prerequisites are that you have the passion, desire and drive to learn and take yourself to the next level.

+Do I need to have any prior experience or education?

For personal and beginners training, no.
For advanced professional training, it is required that you have experience, training and knowledge.

 

Models, supplies and equipment

+Do I need to bring my own models?

Yes, be prepared to bring a live model to accommodate the type of training you are looking for.

+What tools or supplies do I need for the classes?

At the personal training level, you will need to have your personal cosmetics and beauty tools.
At the Beginners Professional Level,
you will not need to have any specific equipment, but anything you may have, you are encouraged to bring. In this Beginners Professional training, you will learn what cosmetics and beauty tools to get and how to get them.
At the Advanced Professional Level, you will need to bring your supplies and equipment. We will assess what works and what does not.

+Do you sell makeup and brushes and equipment? If not, do you give any recommendations?

No, I do not sell any type of cosmetics or equipment, but with these classes you will learn what cosmetics and beauty tools to get and how to get them.

 

All the legal stuff

+What is the point in taking your classes since they aren’t accredited?

For personal training, you do not need any type of credited hours. For professional training, although our training will not be accredited by the TDLR or the Texas TDLR’s Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, the training you will receive will be especially tailored to the type of field and skills you are interested in. As an artist myself, I’ve spent many years perfecting my skills. At the beginning of my career I realized it was difficult to be a graduate with no experience or skills and only a license to hold on to. For young, aspiring professionals, this is a very difficult, uncertain and frustrating situation to be in. As somebody who has personally spent many years working in different fields of the beauty industry, I can offer you not only the knowledge and skills you will need to be successful, but can also provide you with guidance, tact and the inside expertise you need to guide your career in the right direction, and to set you apart from the rest.

+Could I still work as a makeup artist without a license?

Yes you can, as long as you don’t offer your services to the salon industry.To work in a salon, you do need a license.

+Do you accept “MYCAA” for military spouse or any other type of Government tuition programs or discounts?

No

All Other Questions

+Will you be the one instructing me or one of your employees?

I will personally provide all training. Occasionally I will have other professionals that could be an asset to the class.

+I love hair styling and makeup artistry but I am completely confused on how to get started. Would you give any advice on what type of professional training I would need and the best way to get started?

Yes, we could have a preliminary meeting but most definitely a beginners training will be needed. This beginners training will provide you with enough insight to better guide you on the different career options available and the right direction to follow.

+Will there be a certification or diploma upon completion?

Yes, a training diploma will be given upon completion.

+What happens if I decide I no longer want to take the classes?
